We have used the treadmill for walking and have had it a few days. As I saw in other reviews, the handles don’t really tighten completely when in the vertical position. I can move it a few inches back and forth. I wish the handles were longer. I am used to a full sized treadmill with much longer handles and the handles are a few inches higher on this treadmill which I find somewhat uncomfortable.
This is exactly what we needed. Took 5 minutes to put together and hop on. Portable and folds! Solid and sturdy. We love it!
I like the detachable handrail. Did not think I would need one, hence the add on. However, it sits to far forward. You have to lean a lot to actually hold on to it while walking. I'm currently trying to figure out how to modify to get the bar closer to me so I can hold it without leaning over so much.
I am 85 years old, and like to try to keep as active as possible. I live in Iowa so winters keep me from walking in my nearby park.
I decided to try Deer Run and purchase a walking pad. I have found it to be easy to use and also to store. I am quite pleased with my purchase. And it is going to help me to continue to be as active as an old person can be. Thank you.
