Ship-Date Protection Terms

Important: Ship-Date Protection is based on the product ship date, not the final delivery date. If your eligible preorder item ships later than the promised ship date shown at the time of purchase, DeerRun will provide a DeerRun digital gift card reward.

These Ship-Date Protection Terms apply to the optional Ship-Date Protection service offered by DeerRun for eligible preorder purchases. By purchasing Ship-Date Protection, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

1. Nature of the Service

Ship-Date Protection is an optional value-added preorder support service offered by DeerRun. It is designed to provide a DeerRun digital gift card reward if an eligible preorder product ships later than the promised ship date shown at the time of purchase.

Ship-Date Protection is not shipping insurance, a delivery guarantee, a product warranty, a financial product, or a cash refund service. It is an optional DeerRun service and is not provided by a third-party insurer.

2. Eligible Orders

Ship-Date Protection applies only to eligible preorder products purchased together with Ship-Date Protection in the same order.

To qualify, the order must meet all of the following conditions:

  • The order includes an eligible preorder product.
  • Ship-Date Protection was added to the same order at the time of purchase.
  • A promised ship date was shown on the product page, cart, checkout, order page, or other DeerRun purchase communication at the time of purchase.
  • The eligible preorder product ships later than the promised ship date.

3. What Counts as a Late Shipment

A shipment may be considered late if the eligible preorder product is shipped after the promised ship date recorded or displayed by DeerRun at the time of purchase.

Important: Ship-Date Protection is based on the ship date, not the delivery date.

Carrier transit delays, delivery delays, failed delivery attempts, weather delays during transit, or other issues after the product has shipped are not covered by Ship-Date Protection.

4. How Delay Days Are Calculated

Delay days are calculated by calendar days based on the promised ship date and the actual ship date recorded by DeerRun.

If the product ships after 11:59 PM local time on the promised ship date, the shipment may be considered delayed by 1 calendar day.

The actual ship date will be determined based on DeerRun’s fulfillment records, carrier pickup records, or tracking information. DeerRun reserves the right to verify shipment records before approving any reward.

5. Reward Rules

Reward amount: $50 DeerRun digital gift card per delayed day

Maximum reward: $200 DeerRun digital gift card per eligible order

  • The maximum covered delay period is 4 days.
  • Rewards are issued only in the form of DeerRun digital gift cards.
  • Rewards are not redeemable for cash refund, cash compensation, original payment refund, or any other cash equivalent.

6. Customer Rights and Delay Options

Ship-Date Protection rewards are promotional value-added rewards provided by DeerRun for eligible preorder shipments that ship later than the promised ship date. These rewards are separate from and do not replace any rights or remedies that may apply under DeerRun’s standard policies or applicable law.

If DeerRun determines that an eligible preorder product cannot be shipped by the promised ship date, DeerRun may contact the customer with an updated shipment estimate. Where required by applicable law, customers may be given the option to consent to the delay or cancel the unshipped item for a refund.

Receiving or claiming a Ship-Date Protection reward does not limit any rights the customer may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

7. How to Claim Your Ship-Date Protection Reward

To request a Ship-Date Protection reward, please contact DeerRun Customer Support after your eligible preorder item has shipped.

Please provide the following information:

  • Your DeerRun order number.
  • A screenshot showing the promised ship date displayed at the time of purchase, if available.
  • A screenshot or record showing the actual shipment time, fulfillment time, or tracking information.

DeerRun will review the promised ship date shown at the time of purchase and compare it with the actual product shipment time. If the eligible preorder item shipped later than the promised ship date, DeerRun will send the corresponding DeerRun digital gift card reward to the customer by email.

DeerRun may also review internal order records, product page records, fulfillment records, and carrier tracking records when evaluating a claim.

Claim deadline: Claims must be submitted within 30 days after the eligible preorder item has shipped. Claims submitted after this period may not be accepted.

8. Multiple Items and Split Shipments

If an order includes multiple eligible preorder products, the reward applies only to the eligible preorder product that ships later than its promised ship date.

The maximum reward remains $200 per eligible order.

For split shipments or partial shipments, Ship-Date Protection applies only to the delayed eligible preorder item. Items that ship on or before their promised ship date are not eligible for a reward.

9. Exclusions

Ship-Date Protection does not apply in the following situations:

  • The order does not include Ship-Date Protection.
  • The product is not an eligible preorder product.
  • The product ships on or before the promised ship date.
  • The delay is caused by incomplete, incorrect, or changed shipping information provided by the customer.
  • The delay is caused by payment failure, payment review, fraud review, chargeback, or other order verification issues.
  • The customer requests to change, hold, split, or reschedule the shipment.
  • The customer agrees to a revised shipment schedule.
  • The issue occurs after the product has shipped, including carrier transit delay or delivery delay.
  • The delay is caused by force majeure events, extreme weather, natural disasters, strikes, government actions, customs issues, warehouse disruptions, or other circumstances beyond DeerRun’s reasonable control.

10. Reward Delivery and Gift Card Use

Once DeerRun verifies that the claim qualifies, the DeerRun digital gift card reward will be sent to the email address associated with the order.

DeerRun digital gift cards may be used on eligible purchases at deerruntreadmill.com, subject to the terms and conditions of the gift card.

Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be used to adjust or refund the original order.

Gift card expiration and use restrictions, if any, will be stated in the gift card email and will comply with applicable law.

11. Important Notes

  • Ship-Date Protection cannot be purchased as a standalone item.
  • Ship-Date Protection is only valid when purchased with an eligible preorder product in the same order.
  • Ship-Date Protection does not guarantee a specific delivery date.
  • Ship-Date Protection does not replace DeerRun’s standard shipping policy, return policy, warranty policy, or customer support process.
  • DeerRun reserves the right to verify all claim information before issuing any reward.
