Shipping Protection Terms

These Shipping Protection Terms apply to the optional Shipping Protection service offered by DeerRun at checkout. By selecting Shipping Protection and completing your payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

1. Nature of the Service

Shipping Protection is an optional value-added delivery support service offered by DeerRun. It is designed to provide a dedicated request process and additional support for eligible delivery-related issues after your order has shipped.
Shipping Protection is not an insurance product, financial product, product warranty, or unconditional guarantee. It does not protect against all delivery risks or all order-related issues. Support is available only if the applicable conditions under these Terms are met.
Shipping Protection does not replace, limit, or waive any rights you may have under applicable law. Purchases, returns, refunds, product support, product quality issues, incorrect products, and other ordinary after-sales matters remain subject to DeerRun’s applicable order terms, return policy, refund policy, privacy policy, and other relevant policies. Shipping Protection applies only to eligible delivery-related issues after shipment and does not replace or limit DeerRun’s Refund Policy.
Orders that do not include Shipping Protection may still be handled under DeerRun’s general after-sales policies where applicable, but will not be subject to the dedicated delivery-related support process under these Terms.

2. Purchase and Cancellation

You may choose to add Shipping Protection when placing your order. The applicable service fee will be displayed at checkout before you complete your payment.
Shipping Protection is optional. If you do not wish to purchase it, you may proceed with your order without selecting it.
If your order has not shipped, you may contact DeerRun to request cancellation of Shipping Protection and a refund of the Shipping Protection fee. Once your order has shipped, Shipping Protection generally cannot be cancelled, unless required by applicable law or expressly stated by DeerRun.

3. Eligible Situations

After your order has shipped, DeerRun may provide support if one of the following delivery-related issues occurs and the applicable conditions under these Terms are met:
1) No Tracking Information or Abnormal Tracking Interruption: the package has been handed over to the carrier, but the carrier tracking information does not show delivery within 30 days after the shipment date for domestic shipments. Tracking statuses such as “pre-shipment,” “label created,” or “shipment information received” before carrier acceptance are not covered by Shipping Protection and may be handled under DeerRun’s ordinary order support process.
2) Package lost during shipment: the package is not delivered during transit; 
3) Package damaged during shipment: the product is visibly damaged during transportation; 
4) Misdelivery and unrecoverable package: the package is delivered to an incorrect address and cannot be recovered; 
5) Marked as delivered but not received: the carrier tracking information shows the package as delivered, but you did not receive it, subject to reasonable supporting documents. 
Depending on the circumstances, DeerRun may provide a refund, replacement, or other reasonable support.

4. Time Limits

Unless otherwise stated on the order page or required by applicable law:
1) For packages that are not marked as delivered, have no valid tracking record after carrier acceptance, or have had no tracking updates for an extended period, you should submit your request within 90 days after the shipment date
2) For packages marked as delivered but not received, damaged during shipment, or misdelivered, you should submit your request within 7 days after the carrier tracking information is updated as delivered
Requests submitted after the applicable time limit may be declined.

5. Required Information and Documents

To review your request, DeerRun may ask you to provide reasonable supporting information or documents, including:
1) Order number; 
2) Tracking information or screenshots; 
3) Photos or videos showing package or product damage; 
4) Carrier confirmation or carrier statement; 
5) For packages marked as delivered but not received, a police report, security footage, or other reasonable proof; 
6) Any other information reasonably required by DeerRun to verify the delivery-related issue. 
Failure to provide sufficient supporting information or documents may affect the review result.

6. Exclusions

Shipping Protection does not apply to the following situations:
1) You provided an incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable shipping address; 
2) The package was refused, returned, or not timely collected due to your actions or inaction; 
3) The package was detained, seized, destroyed, or otherwise restricted by customs, law enforcement, or other government authorities; 
4) The issue relates to product quality, product defects, wrong size, wrong color, wrong model, wrong item, missing items or parts, or other product-related issues not caused by shipment; 
5) You made false statements, submitted fraudulent materials, filed duplicate requests, abused Shipping Protection, or otherwise acted in bad faith; 
6) You failed to submit the request within the applicable time limit; 
7) The issue is not a delivery-related issue covered by these Terms. 
Product quality issues, wrong or missing items, missing parts, return requests, and other ordinary after-sales matters will be handled under DeerRun’s applicable return, refund, or product support policies, and are not covered by these Shipping Protection Terms.

7. Support Options and Limits

If your request is approved, DeerRun may provide a refund, replacement, or other reasonable support based on the circumstances.
Unless otherwise expressly stated by DeerRun or required by applicable law, the maximum support amount will not exceed the actual product purchase price paid for the affected product(s). For the avoidance of doubt, shipping fees, taxes, the Shipping Protection fee, gift cards, coupons, discounts, and any other additional charges are not included in the support amount.
If the entire order is affected by the delivery-related issue, DeerRun may determine the support amount based on the actual product purchase price paid for all affected product(s) in that order.
If DeerRun provides a refund, the refund will generally be issued to the original payment method. If DeerRun provides a replacement, the shipment timing and delivery arrangement will be subject to DeerRun’s actual processing.

8. Review Process

You may contact DeerRun Customer Support to submit a Shipping Protection request. DeerRun will review your request based on order information, tracking information, supporting documents, and these Terms.
If the applicable conditions are not met, DeerRun may decline the request, partially approve the request, or ask you to provide additional information before making a decision.

9. Fraud Prevention and No Duplicate Support

If DeerRun reasonably believes that you have made false statements, submitted fraudulent materials, filed duplicate requests, abused Shipping Protection, or otherwise acted in bad faith, DeerRun may decline the request, require additional documents, suspend review, or take other reasonable risk control measures.
For the same delivery-related issue, you may not receive duplicate support through Shipping Protection, ordinary after-sales support, carrier reimbursement, or any other support channel. If DeerRun has already provided a refund, replacement, or other support for the same issue, DeerRun may offset, reduce, decline, or adjust any duplicate request.

10. Data Processing

DeerRun may process order information, delivery information, contact information, and supporting documents submitted by you for the purpose of reviewing Shipping Protection requests. The processing of personal information is subject to DeerRun’s Privacy Policy.

11. Availability and Changes

DeerRun may limit, suspend, or adjust the availability or scope of Shipping Protection based on logistics capabilities, risk control requirements, legal compliance requirements, or the circumstances of a specific order. The information displayed at checkout will apply.
DeerRun may modify Shipping Protection from time to time for business, logistics, risk control, or compliance reasons. Unless required by applicable law or otherwise stated by DeerRun, changes will generally apply only to orders for which Shipping Protection is purchased after the changes take effect.
