This walking pad is my first and has exceeded expectations. The remote is perfect and the app makes it fun too. The belt is smooth and after 4 knee surgeries it has enough cushion for long walks not to bother me. The belt is shorter than I expected, being 5'9 it took a little time getting used to and have to focus a bit when walking at higher speeds. If I was to purchase again, I would buy a bigger walking pad but that doesn't take away from this ones' performance.
Portability was a asset for this machine I'm in my late 70s and mobility issues it appears to be a well-made machine time will tell I gave it four stars might upgrade to five we shall see
Treadmill is the perfect size and works great!
First Excuse my very messy office space in pics/video...
This walking pad is Great! I needed something that fits into a small space I have roughly 6 x 8 cubicle at work in an industrial style space. I worried about space, sound and just being able to "hide" it away without the pad being a nuisance to myself or others. This pad was the answer. It folds up and tucks under my desk perfectly, the sound is minimal for a walking pad. My footsteps on it are probably louder than the pad itself. The only thing I would say is loud is the beeping sound it makes when it starts off or you use the remote-- I am currently trying to find a fix for that just to not disturb others... I would say the pad running besides my feet walking on it the sound could blend in with the sound of our HVAC system running in the background. To reduce the sound of foot sounds more I may see if a noise reduction mat underneath would help.
I am currently 7 months pregnant, I needed something to keep me moving and not sitting long for health reasons and this is the answer. I love the portability of it, and plan to take it home with me for my postpartum. We also live in a small home under 1000SF so again space is minimal. I tested it there and it was wonderful to get out walking and tuck away quickly and fast. The only thing I didn’t love but again this is a walking pad, not a treadmill, was testing it without a desk in front of me, walking without something to balance you (which might just feel sketcher when pregnant) is hard to get used to. I just set one of my dining chairs next to me as I walked to keep myself balanced when needed.
No other gripes other than the sound of the beeps, and no balance handle but also that was what I expected from it being marketed as an “under the desk” walking pad.
It rolls just as easy when folded and like a large suitcase, its on the heavier side but its nothing the average person couldn't handle.
I would recommend it to anyone in my similar situation of small space! It’s a must have!
My previous treadmill was a cheap model that stopped working after a year. While I haven't had this one long, I can already tell it's much sturdier and better made than the other one. This one is quieter and runs smoother too! Unfortunately, we dont have a lot of room here, but I did find a place that works since it isnt much bigger than my last one. Plus, it folds up if I need to move it around.
You don't have to use the PitPat app if you don't want to, but it's a fun and entertaining way to keep track of your stats and the interactive videos are cool.
I'd definitely recommend!
